Note: The Rock Island County Circuit Clerk's published Civil Filing Fees chart (filing fees page updated October 1, 2025; probate section marked effective July 15, 2024) lists Probate (PR) Estates of Decedents or Missing Persons at $384.00, wrongful death or collection of judgment at $284.00, estate claim filing fees of $0 (claims under $150), $25 ($150 to $500), $40 ($500.01 to $10,000), and $60 (over $10,000.01), filing an account other than a final account at $25, and a 12-person jury demand at $137.50. Illinois circuit clerk civil filing fees are set by county ordinance within the statutory maximums of 705 ILCS 105/27.1b (Clerks of Courts Act), and a $100 guardianship and advocacy operations fee under 705 ILCS 105/27.3f applies to decedent estate administration filings; published county totals such as this one bundle those components.
