Note: The St. Clair County Circuit Clerk's posted fee schedule lists Administration of a Decedent's Estate, intestate and testate, at $366.00, which is the Clerks of Courts Act Schedule 2 filing fee of $266 plus the $100 guardianship and advocacy operations fee on decedent estate filings (705 ILCS 105/27.1b and 27.3f). The schedule also lists the probate (PR) civil appearance fee at $189.00 (Schedule 1), and the filing of a will under 755 ILCS 5/6-1 without administration is free (Schedule 4).
