The Montana Supreme Court's District Court Public Access Portal is free; its log-in screen only asks the user to pick a court, and it lists "Garfield District Court". Coverage is partial by design: the Judicial Branch calls the portal "a courtesy, it is not a required statutory service", searches run court by court, sealed cases and records are excluded, several case types (adoption, involuntary commitment, abuse and neglect and others) are not shown, and "RECENT ENTRIES MADE IN THE LOCAL COURT OFFICES MAY NOT BE IMMEDIATELY REFLECTED" (data refreshes every 24 hours). Courts are being moved onto the portal as they convert to the new case management system. Confirm case details with the Clerk of District Court.
