Filing fees
- Mifflin County grant-of-letters (probate) fees (granting letters, including real estate) are graduated on the estimated estate value: $32 (not exceeding $1,000), $42 ($1,001 to $5,000), $61 ($5,001 to $10,000), $72 ($10,001 to $20,000), $84 ($20,001 to $30,000), $96 ($30,001 to $40,000), $106 ($40,001 to $50,000), $120 ($50,001 to $75,000), $132 ($75,001 to $100,000), plus $48 for each additional $100,000. A $41.25 JCS fee and a $10 automation fee apply to first filings. A petition for small estate is $25, and a short certificate is $6. Confirm current amounts on the county fee schedule.
