Xchange is the Utah State Courts' statewide repository of district and justice court case information. It returns SUMMARY case information (party names and addresses where available, assigned judges, attorneys of record, documents filed, hearings held, judgments entered and the outcome of completed cases) rather than the filed documents themselves, and records not open to public inspection, sealed cases, expunged cases and juvenile cases are not displayed. Registration and subscription fees are required, so it is not an anonymous public search; the subscriber application is on xchange.utcourts.gov. Copies of filed documents must be requested from the clerk of the district court where the case was filed. A party to a case can view that case free through the courts' MyCase service.
