DO NOT DESCRIBE THIS AS A FREE PUBLIC PORTAL. Nebraska runs one statewide trial court case search, JUSTICE, covering the county court and district court in all 93 counties. The Nebraska Judicial Branch states that it is free at any courthouse kiosk or law library, including the Nebraska State Library and the law libraries at the University of Nebraska and Creighton. Online it is not free: a one-time search by party name costs $17 and returns up to 30 records, and repeat searching needs a Nebraska.gov subscriber account at $100 a year, within which general list searches are free and viewing any one case costs $2, with no extra charge for document images. Verified independently on 2026-09-10: the general search URL answers HTTP 401 without an account. Coverage varies by county and by era and confidential case types are not shown, so treat it as a finding aid and confirm case details with the clerk of the Fillmore County Court.
